The Expo will be at the Speedway in the FPL Solar Pavilion.

Saturday, April 18th, 2026 from 10 am to 4 pm EST.

Our point of contact is Edward Martinez. Edward is a Planner III at the EOC and has been assigned to coordinate the Expo. If you have questions on the day of the event he is a good one to go to for answers. I will be here to help plan and answer questions until that week. Brian Fronek NA4B has volunteered to be in charge of our Amateur Radio Group at the Expo. He will liaison between us and Edward if we need anything. Brian has Edward's contact info.

The front area nearest the boulevard will be food concessions. We'll be stationed in the back somewhere. Should be no problem setting up coax and antennas. We may need to bring our own power, tables, chairs and all the personal things you need to operate and survive for 6 hours. Prepare for any inclement weather. We're basically outdoors under the solar panels.

The only problem I foresee is maybe there will be spurious electronic interference from the solar power generation.

Maybe we could get Frank "I Find RF" Haas, KB4T to do a band sweep for us sometime between now and April 18th.

Parking will be available in the Speedway parking lot just south of the pavilion.

Let's talk about and plan who, what demonstrations would attract the most public interest at the next two meetings.
